Nice jeans but inconsistent sizing

I have the mid blue which fit perfectly in 10R. I am 5'9" and normally buy L but wanted them to wear with trainers and R is perfect. However I had to try a few pairs to find them, some were tighter than others and one that was long length was shorter than another that was regular length. The black in size 10 won't do up and the 12 are too big. I am in the process of finding a pair in the Indigo, the fabric is slightly thinner and the hems didn't fall well on the first pair, I am hoping it was just that pair that was stitched/pressed badly. I would like to buy at least one other pair as the style really suits me and they have some stretch which so many don't, the fabric is a lovely weight and soft - M&S have become good with their denim fabrics, but it is always such an ordeal with sizing inconsistency, I suppose that's the trade off for cheap jeans. Please do more styles with stretch.

Have these in a long lengh , but can not wear heels to dress up a bit. Bought in extra long and are ideal with a heeled boot. High wasted with front pockets, make these a very stylish jean.

I have these jeans in both the light and dark blue denim in exactly the same size. The light blue are rather baggy through the leg which spoils the fit. My dark denim pair are close fitting through the thigh and then flare as one would expect. Disappointed in the inconsistency of the fit

They are too long for me at 5' 5" tall and would need me to wear shoes with some sort of heel. I have ordered a pair in short as the styling and quality are excellent.

I was a bit reluctant initially to order these jeans because previous widely leg jeans have looked ridiculous on my 5 ‘4” frame but I’m so glad that I did. I ordered a size 14 short which are a perfect fit for wearing a kitten heel shoe or medium Heel boot. I love them.

I bought these last year - same design ( although they have slightly changed the design with a button on the patch pocket ). Bought my normal size 12 and they were a bit too tight. But I kept them. These are a better fit for me. The button on the pocket does give a slightly bumpy silhouette at the front, but if you wear a cropped top or top tucked in, it gives a nice detail. I like the heavy hem bottom. With big boots they fall nicely.

Bought the dark denim first and now just ordered in black, lovely style and quality and feel great on, love the deep stitched hem and flare , bought my usual size 10 and short length which was great for my height of 5’4”.Waiting now for them to be available in the chocolate. Good buy would recommend.

Best jeans I’ve had from M&S in years. Quality mid weight denim with good amount of stretch. High waist falls at just the right spot for covering my mum tum. I’m a 12-14 but went for 14. Regular length is just right at 5”7.

I had read other reviews on this style and was a bit wary about how flared they would look but they look really good on. Slight stretch in the fabric makes for a good fit. Also I wasn’t sure initially about the deep hem line but now used to that and don’t notice it, Would recommend.
