A light, delicate and fresh scent. So unusual to find heliotrope in a scent. The addition of ginger just cuts through the gentle floral, and adds a contmporary zesty twist. Every one who's smelt this scent has loved it.

I find it hard to describe scents but this is sort of floral and warm at same time. It's different from the very light florals without being heavy or cloying. I really like it.

So, so disappointed. An English company used to make soap scented with heliotrope and a French company made one with the scent of ginger lilies and both were divine. So I had high hopes of this eau de parfum from Fragonard. To me, it smells simply of caramelised sugar both when sprayed in the air and sprayed on me and this isn’t what I want in a perfume. It didn’t improve after wearing and fortunately faded to no discernible scent whatsoever. I shan’t wear it again, so rather a waste of money. It’s completely colourless which makes me wonder if some vital ingredient has been left out as other reviews on here are positive.

This scent is absolutely beautiful and long lasting, I can’t praise it enough, I already have two other perfumes (Diamonds and Etoile )made by Fragonard and they’re lovely but Heliotrope is definitely now my favourite and the price is so reasonable, however I was lucky enough to get it at a discounted price. Also the boxes Fragonard perfumes are supplied in are so very pretty especially if the perfume is being purchased for gifting.

I love this range of perfume generally but this one is my favourite. It smells so expensive and it is not , compared to many similar ones which are market leaders. Delighted the sales lady in your store persuaded me to try it instead of my usual.

I bought this for a present for a friend. I went in store especially to smell before I purchased it, however none of the stores could provide a tester, which I was quite annoyed about. Why can’t they provide that service. How do I know what it is going to smell like. In the end I’ve chanced it. Not ideal.

I have been promising myself this fragrance for ages and at last have taken the plunge. It is very different, almost unique I would say and makes a change from all the ‘fruit basket’ perfumes out there at the moment. Its staying power is good and clings beautifully to scarves etc. Just gorgeously!
