Bought this as an easy to use with no fussy gadgets attached. Just be careful to use the finger guard as you can easily slice your thumb and finger. You can adjust thickness of slice.

Amazing! I have been looking fur a mandolin slicer for a while now, primarily to use for slicing uniform size dauphinois potatoes and other veg. After checking many reviews this Oxo mandolin kept coming up as top choice, for a reason, it’s fab. Very sharp. Thickness adjuster is brilliant. Built in good holder is fab, securely holds the food, whilst also protecting your fingers. Brilliant quality and design. Highly recommend.

This is great for dauphinois potatoes and making coleslaw I’m chuffed with it. Just take care as the blade is very sharp so make sure you use the hand gripper on the vegetable you’re preparing.

Delighted with this easy to use appliance slices onions,potatoes in a flash there is a lock to protect the blade from you!! And a guard to use when slicing light weight and easy to clean

Very dangerous item the teeth on the guard are not long enough to hold a potato in place and finger tips are very susceptible to being sliced there are far better mandolins on the market I binned this one

Once again M&S get it so right. Thanks s mandolin is small enough not to be a space problem but efficient to provide you with all your slicing needs. The safety holder is really good in that it is ergonomically perfect for the job.
