No, I don't recommend this
Very solid build quality as expected, but very stiff knob to turn. It also can't cope with random tins which I have had to use my old opener on. I love Oxo products and have many from the range, so I am surprised about this experience. A relative has the Oxo Soft Works version which feels much more comfortable to use so I shall be donating the one I have purchased and buying one of those instead.

My old tin opener was hacking away at tins leaving sharp and awkward edges. This OXO tin opener is easy to use and very effective. I could have got it from a number of outlets but M&S was the only one offering free click and collect so they got my custom. Other retailers ought to take note.

Excellent! Didn’t realise just how bad my old was was, grinding and clunking around the tin, plus giving me arm ache into the bargain. This one is lovely and sharp and glides around the tin with very little effort. Very pleased 😀
