Floral Waisted Midi Dress

This is a lovely spring dress but actually fine for winter with long sleeves and high neck. Slightly big in torso and the regular length quite long but I’m a small size 8 so maybe just me. Overall very good buy.

I am short waisted but the waist came just under my bust, most unflattering. Had to send it back.

Nicely coloured and designed fabric. I am 5’9” tall and the waisted design was too short in the bodice and came around my ribs, not the top of my hips. Disappointing. I loved the style.

Ordered my usual size but dress uncomfortably big. Elastic waist was loose and rises up under bustline. Pretty pattern and lovely lilac colour. Have to admit it looked frumpy as well but that's just me - maybe I need to be 19 again to wear that style!!

I found the tiny buttons at back of neck very fiddly and living on my own Iwould have found them impossible to do up on my own.

Such a pretty fabric but a real shame about the neckline. Unable to wear high necklines. Otherwise long sleeves, midi length were just what I needed. Slightly short waisted. Not washed but questions insist on answers so always put no if not washed.

Loved this dress tried it on in three different sizes, all too long on the waist. Why oh why don’t you do more things in petite. There are a lot of us about.

Saw this very pretty dress in store as part of the spring collection. The colour, design of fabric and quality all very good for the price. I have quite a large bust however, and all the waisted dresses in M & S it would appear are made for smaller busts. The length of fabric between the neck and waist is far too short, so the waist ends up under the bust and is very uncomfortable. With an elesticated waist it would have been so much easier to include additional length for all shapes and sizes but sadly no such thinking goes into your designs these days. The dress was returned sadly as it would have been lovely as a spring addition to my wardrobe.

Saw this dress on someone as I was walking through the store. Had to have. Looks great on and love the old flower pattern . Tried on the pale purple as well and liked that as well so brought both. Get while you can, everyone in the changing room was trying them on...

I wanted to love this dress and ignored the comments that stated that the waist was way too high...I hoped mine may be better but unfortunately is wasn't..I'd say the waist needs to be 3" lower for the dress to look good..The 3 little back buttons were fiddly.. I thought I'd try this dress back to front, as some M&S dresses work better this way, but alas not this one..Such a shame.. As for the fit, it was true to size..I'm a 14 and 5'4" tall, it fit well and regular came to mid calf, my favourite length...Loved the colours too..Back it goes...

I ordered a larger size to cater for my bust but this dress still did not stay at the waist where it should be so it hasn’t been made to cater for anyone who has a bust size bigger than a 36a You should be able to raise your arms without the top part of the dress lifting up to under your bust even when you are only trying the dress on. It is for this reason that I had to return the dress to your shop. Very disappointed.

This dress is really comfortable and I love the colours of it.

The dress up is very short waisted, or doesn’t allow for something up top. The colour is more purple than lilac. Bought this in two sizes as wasn’t sure what I needed. Both returned.

I loved this dress until I tried it on. Unfortunately the elasticated waist was not long enough between the shoulders and waist as I have a long body. The material and colour were excellent and I am so disappointed.
