I'm really pleased with the dress, the style, fit and colour excellent. It's a classic, contemporary style that will last me for a few years. Perfect for any occasion, I wore it with short chunky ankle boots, I can see all sorts of footwear working with it.

As earlier reviews had stated it fitted big I bought the size smaller than usual It was good The length was slightly long for me as I have short legs but it was as stated in the information and with the correct shoes it looked ok I would have preferred it to have been slightly wider at the hem line I think it will be very useful rather than dressy

It seemed very large around the neck and bust, and I am a standard size 12

Given the good reviews, I expected to really like this dress. Boy, was I disappointed. Despite some saying the fit was generous, I felt it would have benefited from being looser and more flowing over the hips. The left wristband was a bit tight. Due to a spider bite some years ago, my left hand and wrist is slightly larger than my left. This has never been an issue with any other garment though, so it was unexpected! I also felt the puffed sleeves would benefit from a couple more inches in length for them to really ‘puff’. As if all of that wasn’t enough. I just didn’t like it. On me, it just looked dull and uninspiring.

This is a great dress for the seasonal weather being stylish and comfortable to wear. The bright orange ditsy pattern looks fabulous with my orange cardigan so with opaque tights it will make it all the way through to spring. A fashionable bargain especially with my 20% discount. This dress is going to be a firm favourite.

I so wanted to like this dress. It's a very pretty material and weight but the fit was not for me. I'm 14/16 so ordered medium but the top half was huge and quite full bagging under the arms. The skirt section although still a bit big I could have got away with because of the fitted waist. But it looked big and blousy and too matronly for me. Sadly had to return

Nice style, fit and pattern but the feel was awful, very prickly and almost stinging. It3m returned

The dress was fine in itself but I found it looked 'frumpy' on me - hence its return to you two days ago.

Haven't actually needed to wash it yet but I'm assuming it washes well. Very pleased as I needed it for a couple of semi-formal occasions and it fitted in with the rest of my wardrobe so didn't need to buy anything else.

Great dress for curvy figures - a new favorite

I absolutely love this dress. As other reviewers mentioned, it does run a bit big. I'm normally 14-16 and I have the 14 with room to spare. It is fitted at the waist, but not uncomfortably tight; if you are pear shaped or have an hourglass figure, I think you will find it suits you, and I can see while it might not be as flattering on a straighter body. The skirt is not too full, but does have good movement. I like that the waistband is gathered, but not all the way around as to look too matronly; it also lends itself well to adding a belt. The dress hits at a perfect length below the knee on my 5'7" frame. The material is weighty without being heavy, and definitely no sheerness at all. The v neckline is also not too low or high; I feel like it lays in an absolutely spot without being too revealing or conservative. All in all, a complete winner! Looking forward to wearing it more this fall and winter!

lovely dress. Nice print, great fit, comfortable and doesn't crease so looks smart all day for work. Elasticated waist not obvious. Recommended

I was very disappointed in this dress as it was far too long, too restricting at the waist, and the material was not what I expected. I have always found garments made of viscose to be more substantial and stretchy.

Nice but for one thing...

....the bottom edge! Lovely drapey material, fits really well everywhere (size 6), good length, but...don't try walking in it. If you take very small steps, you'll be fine, but anything verging on a stride and you're restricted! The skirt part needs to be much more flairy, I'm afraid, or a back/side slit would have got round this. A shame, because I love everything else about this dress.
