Floral High Neck Midaxi Relaxed Dress

Cool practical elegance pretty design

I bought this for my holiday - I've tried it on and am happy that it will be great for walking to the beach or going out in. The material in the perfect weight , not too heavy and not too light.

Much too big even though I am a large woman. Shapeless and unattractive.

It states a loose fitting dress but it’s gigantic, I am a 12 but it was abnormally big, the 10 was better but still room for 3 people. It’s even big for a maternity dress unless your expecting sextuplets.

Tried on an 18 which was miles too big - the next size down was just right - good for my ego! I don't know if I bought a regular or long, but I'm about 5' 5" and it almost reaches my ankles, which is the length I like dresses. Have to disagree with others about this colour looking like a nightie - it's just the right colour for the spring. Loved the blue flowers on the khaki version, but unfortunately khaki isn't my colour.

Lovely print and length but went round me twice so far more than 'relaxed'!

Generous amount of material in dress. Beautiful floral pattern. Dress up or down on mood. Lovely to just throw on and look like you made an effort.

Sadly, must agree with all other reviewers. Am 5ft.7in tall and ordered my normal size, also one size down. Both were very long and both billowed out at the back, making them resemble 'tent' dresses. Such a pity. The pattern was beautiful and I could have lived with the material and ill-thought-out neckline.

I’m sorry M and S but I really have to agree with the previous review, Granny’s Nightdress. I am 5 ft2 ins and a size 8 and ordered the regular fitting, it came down to my ankles and I looked like some poor soul from a Victorian workhouse. This was not the look I was hoping to channel!

I had looked at this dress online for a number of weeks and it really appealed to me. I was aware it was 100% viscose and so kept moving on from it. However when the latest Friends and Family offer was available, decided to send for it, in the hope that maybe this viscose was of the improved variety. Unfortunately No! I could see dress was creased inside poly packaging on arrival and immediately returned it to package and have now returned it.

I am sorry to review this ...as most M&S products are fine ........BUT OMG .....this was a “granny’s nightie “ of a dress..... I feel if you are over 6 feet tall with good broad shoulders , you may be able to carry it off .... Anyone else ....I wouldn’t advise ...... Returned to store ...so no advice on washing

I fell in love with the pattern & colours of this dress . I have a few loose midi dresses from Zara & hoped this would have the same fit . I went down a size , but it was much too shapeless i do realise that is supposed to be loose , but don’t think M&S have got it right . they need to take a lesson from Zara who have the loose midi just right
