What a shame. This looks like it would be warm, snuggly and really characterful. It is none of those things. It’s very thin, hardly any pile on the fleece and the pocket is out of step with the rest of the top and just looks weird. I am really struggling to find decent kid’s clothes at M&S this year. Sometimes you don’t want cheap, you want good. This top isn’t good.

I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter to try & persuade her to wear some bright colours instead of the dreary colours she seems to want! It is really pretty and not too “girly” and the size seemed as stated, certainly not too large. My only complaint was that it was rather flimsy and definitely would not be very warm. It was bought as a Christmas present so cannot tell the recepient’s opinion yet. In spite of it being very thin it was reasonable value for money
