Farley Round Coffee Table

I have had this table for nearly four years now. It was delivered quickly and two men rolled out carpet protectors, carried it in and assembled it for me. Being real marble it will stain with coffee/red wine, but I got it stain protected when I had new marble worktops fitted last year.

Lovely looking table and very pleased with my purchase. Would highly recommend using a sealer to protect the marble, which I did and therefore won't adsorb any spills e.g. red wine, etc.

Nice height, not too big and works well with an L shape sofa.Easy assembly and marble good quality and the black legs work well with the contrast marble. Quite tricky to clean. Polish / glass cleaner works well. Put down coasters.

A little disappointed with the size, it feels like it should be lower to the floor and have a larger top.

Bought this to match the nest of side tables and it looks lovely Good quality and easy to assemble; although they did offer to do it for us, so no need to worry

This was about £165 cheaper than the same design table that I had been considering at french connection. I was a bit worried by some previous reviewers having received bad quality marble tops but I found the top to be great, definitely enough pattern to it and the ‘paint marks’ someone mentioned I think are a couple of tiny areas of filler where the natural marble had a tiny hole and it’s been smoothed over. I noticed that when the light shines off it you can see a bit of a trace of where sellotape had been stuck to it previously but this is not at all noticeable and I think will clean off eventually. Metal base is very sturdy and looks great.

The first marble top I received was covered in large patches of white paint and unsightly etching. M&S sent a replacement that didn't have paint on but is honestly not a good-looking piece of marble and is again etched in places. Mine has some quite aggressive-looking black veining rather than the beautiful subtle pattern on the website images. The marble seems unpolished and untreated and I really don't think it will last very long as a coffee table. I'm planning to put this somewhere in the house where it won't be seen by guests as I'm just not happy at all with the look of it.

I already had the Farley side tables and loved them so thought that I would buy the coffee table to match. The table came very quickly. I did have to put this together due to COVID so I would warn anyone who is trying to do this themselves the table is extremely heavy! So may need help. On inspecting the marble I saw that there was a small chip on the surface and there was a small black marking to the side. However as they were quite small I didn't return this item (just couldn't be bothered to be honest). If it weren't for this damage I would really like this table. But then recently I was eating on the table and spilled sauce on the table it absorbed into the marble straight away and now there is a permanent mark, so I would be careful what you put on the table!
