These barrel leg trousers are fantastic because they fit in the right places on the hip, and ‘barrel’ in the right places (unlike a lot of barrel leg trousers which are just vast all over) so they don’t make you look enormous, and are flattering. I’m very impressed with the fit. The material has a very slight sheen, rather than a matte look, which is really nice - can easily dress up or down. Summer-weight material so I haven’t worn them yet (only tried on) or washed them. Length - I’m 5 ft 4, short in the body with long legs, and the regular on me are near enough the length shown on the image. I’d say they’re true to M&S sizing. I definitely recommend.
