Great fit and fabulous colour. Very warm, with nice attention to detail in the manufacture. Swings and hangs nicely. I’m not going to unsnip the pockets because I dislike the stretching that happens when you use pockets in coats like this, so hopefully that’ll help it keeps it’s smart look for longer. I wanted to see this coat in the flesh before I ordered it online and thankfully I managed to see it at Marble Arch just before Christmas - the only place with any instore stock. The colour is lovely rich French navy, not a royal blue as described.

Stunning bright navy colour: more distinctive and flattering than the typical inky navy, but still a perfectly versatile neutral. The cut tapers through the ribcage and waist for a trim look instead of the tent shape that most brands now offer to cheap out on tailoring. The wool is lightweight but warm, and the length is great even for a 5’10” woman like me. Thrilled to find a long coat in such a beautiful colour.

This is a beautiful coat, lovely rich colour and good fabric. I would have liked a couple more inches on the sleeves, this is a continuing problem for tall women to get quality clothing that actually fits well. No leeway for a dressmaker to lengthen the sleeves. Only slight quibble is the choice of fabric for the underside of the collar. It's a grey felt- like fabric and I don't think it's a good idea - I like to turn the collar up if it's cold and not sure this would look quite right.
