I bought this skirt as a stylish every day item I could turn to when I don’t want to wear jeans. The one I initially bought was badly sewn at the top of the zip so that it was lumpy and the two sides didn’t match but I swapped it for a much better one. The shape makes a really nice change and the fabric is a great, versatile colour that feels really good quality. Very pleased.

As soon as I saw this, I knew it was for me. Based on other reviewers' helpful feedback, I sized up to a 12. I did try on the 10 (my usual size) but it was a bit snug and although I could do it up, I didn't want to strain the side zip as it is a bit sticky on both sizes. The length is perfect for me a 5ft 2. It looks gorgeous with a brown top and brown boots. Really classy. Another win from M&S.

Love this skirt. Tried it on in a store but it was a bit short so ordered the last long one. It is lovely on except the zip gets stuck on the waistband. Very frustrating but it looks good on.

Unfortunately though, I am returning it. It was quite creased across the pleats after being put in a small package. I struggled to iron out the creases because it wasn't 100% cotton denim - there was 35% polyester in it and I didn't dare increase the heat on the iron. I just didn't want to risk it. Shame because I loved the style.

10/10 M & S. I'd been looking for a denim skirt for a long time, but didn't want maxi length. I wanted something more for winter days, with thick tights, boots or nice shoes, and this showed up. I love the saffron cotton contrast stitching, the D-shape belt (along with zip), the medium weight of it all. A skirt I'll wear and wear and wear. Super!

I bought this skirt to wear as a casual smart piece at the weekend, but although I loved the photograph, when I tried it on it just didn’t sit right on me, it seems that the pleats were misaligned or something but it just didn’t look right. It’s a shame because I loved the style and the quality was good.Unfortunately I had to return it.

Fabulous skirt, fits so well and the belt with D rings means you can adjust a little if necessary. Great length and had not creased in parcel. The fabric is a nice medium weight denim. Looks so nice with boots.
