Cotton Rich Single Breasted Waistcoat

Love waistcoats. I did buy the trousers that went with this but oh my they were far too wide for me. I have kept the waistcoat to go with other wideleg trousers jeans maxi skirts or crops for spring summer. Nice length and a good fit in my usual size 12. Looks nice left open or fastened.

Lovely fabric and looks good. Versatile, and looks great with various options and colour - this could be a summer staple!

I ordered online in two sizes, as I had read that some reviewers needed to size up. I found my usual size was a tad snug across the boob area, but not enough to make it pull or gape at the buttons. I'm 5ft 7ins with an approx 38" bust. The next size up was too big. Like the matching trousers, the fabric is a lovely colour and comfortable to wear. I think that the waistcoat is ideal for formal wear with the trousers, aswell as casual with a light or black jean. I would have preferred the waistcoat to have been a fraction longer and have a couple of darts in the back, as I have found that my shirt tends to show/hang out at the back and, unlike the model wearing it online, I'm not daring enough to go without a shirt underneath! Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Haven't bought the matching blazer as think that would be overkill, but wish there was a matching pencil skirt.

Bought as a companion item to the trousers , but unsuitable as a stand alone item.

14 was perfect for me. It gapes slightly at one armhole as it depends on who stitches it I guess. But still looks great.

Love this waistcoat. The denim is great quality and colour. A really chic and up-to-date cut that can be dressed up or down. A great addition to my spring/summer wardrobe.
