Lovely material and the lace trim makes the neckline softer and feminine. Also like the back ties so the waistcan be pulled in to desired fit. Bought to go with wideleg trousers and maxi skirt.

I ordered this as a possible item to wear when participating in our choir performances in summer, our requirements being black trousers and black top. This looked very smart online and I ordered in 2 sizes. My usual size was the best fit. It is a very nicely tailored garment and the fabric is good, and I liked the pretty edging which softens the overall effect. The fabric is quite thick meaning it won't be suitable in the hottest of settings, but this also means the waistcoat will keep its shape well and look smart for longer. I haven't worn it yet so can't comment on its 'washability'. I have taken one star off because I think it's quite expensive, so I hope it's a garment that lasts well..
