I bought this tree for my son as a first tree. It's a great starter pack and in the sale for £17.50 i thought it was great value. It was hassle free and looked nice up. He can add to it as years go by

This tree was very easy to assemble and the branches were easy to adjust, so there were very few gaps. Lights are good, as well as the baubles. Perfect.

Good value all in one tree. The tree is a bit sparse but looks good when all the branches are open and the decorations are on.

What a surprise! This was a fantastic buy. People say it’s sparse but what do you expect from the price! But the sparse bottom part doesn’t matter as there are so many baubles of all shapes and sizes. I bought this in the sale and couldn’t be more delighted

Great price, quality baubles, looks amazing with the pre lit lights all decorated, did buy extra decorations to fill it up, nevertheless still very pleased as it’s definitely brilliant value for money,

Got this half price so was very happy but however it does not look like the picture. The branches at the bottom are very sparse and far apart. The decorations are lovely and good quality though.

What awful quality

For £35.00 I was not expecting a fabulous high quality Christmas tree however this was far short of the quality I expect from M&S. Very disappointing indeed, left with lots of gaps that couldn't be filled. Purchased two, one for my mother and I, both have been returned. Awful as we're now left getting a tree last minute.

I normally do not write reviews, but this time I feel I ought to - after reading so many bad reviews about this product, I have to disagree. The tree bundle is an excellent value for money, especially as it is now available at reduced price - if you left Christmas tree purchase to the last minute,as I did, run now and get this one! I can honestly say I achieved the same look as advertised, but you have to spend time arranging the brunches very well, to achieve natural look - and it is quite a natural, realistic look, I think, for an inexpensive artificial tree. The colour is good too. As with all artificial trees, you must spent some time adjusting the brunches, there is no other way about it. The decorations are also great, looking actually very expensive when put on, very nice design and great mix of colours and shapes. I have picked the red option and I am very pleased, looks fantastic and warming up the room. The lights are great, working perfectly, quite bright and well distributed ( you can adjust them too). Great idea to have them already on the branches, saves the hassle. The only issue I had was one shattered bulb (they are to be shatterproof) - I do not know how this is possible, but one bulb in the packet arrived shattered, although they were packed in plastic boxes and everything also came in a sturdy card box. I would strongly recommend this tree, great value for money and truly "Christmas in a box" (as advertised) experience. I am uploading the photo of the tree, but it looks way better in reality.

Ordered online and picked up in-store, I was quite surprised at the size of the box and expected something special, and I wasn't let down when I opened it. I think for the money its great value and good quality. Didn't realise it included lights so that was an added bonus, and the decorations look really good. It's a decent height and once the branches are pulled out and the decorations loaded it looks really good, as well as lighting up the room! Also really nice staff at the Newport collection so very happy with my purchase.

Have waited until the last minute to put up my tree this year and so very disappointed. If I had more time I’d be taking it back for a refund. The bottom branches are very sparse, with big gaps and give the tree no shape at all. It looks nothing like the picture.

Purchased in October when on offer (£28). Opened last weekend. Disappointed. ‘Pre-lit’ is not integral lights, just bulbs on three separate cables and wound around and rather ugly. Should have looked in the box sooner! Not using the decorations are they look cheap. Not the usual M&S standard.

Branches are not spaced well enough for a ‘full’ looking tree. Very sparse and fragile looking. Lights are loosely attached and easily tangled. Baubles nice but would not recommend. Pretty disappointed.

Disappointing as the children were so excited to get Christmas in a box! However we did not read reviews before purchasing and were let down by the quality. The picture on the box is misleading, it shows a very full tree. The reality is that the bottom part is very sparse and shows mostly the electrics and not many foliage. Surprised M and S let this product go out. Returned though for a refund without hassle.

bought this tree for my mum who wouldn't bother with a Christmas tree if I didn't sort it out- but really likes to have one! She likes to take good care of her new carpet and does not like it to be crushed or marked by furniture or anything else being temporarily placed on it. This tree is light weight( so won't leave permanent dents in her carpet) and looks just the business when lit up and decorated. Also there are good spaces between the branches which sets the decorations off nicely. It will also be easy for her to take apart and stick in a cupboard for next year. She was tickled pink with it.

Was slightly apprehensive about ordering this but I am honestly blown away by this! There are a lot of negative reviews which in my opinion are a bit harsh. OK, it’s not a lush bountiful tree but perfectly fit for purpose. Plenty of lights and baubles which once they are on look terrific. I added some of my own decorations and I am so chuffed with the look. I’m even more delighted as I got this reduced to half price but even if I’d paid the full price I would have been happy. Well done M&S x

Good value for money. It needed a few extra baubles to fill it out but looks good and the ornaments provided are good quality.

The tree was easy to put together with plenty of baubles. Star for the top was slightly top heavy so took a while to get it to sit comfortably otherwise all ok.
