I'd bought the previous iteration about 2-3 years ago. They were the best boots - a perfect fit from the start. These are slightly different: a looser fit, no metal eyelets for the top two holes, and no (faux) brown stitching around the edge. I would have kept them but these are a much wider fitting (bought my usual size 4), so I've had to return them.

Really liked them. They fitted well straight away. However one of the zips was sticking and completely broke off. Had to unfortunately send them back hoping for a replacement but they were sold out. 😟

Right boot is significantly bigger in fit to the left despite both being labelled 39! They make a creaky noise when I walk and not terribly comfortable. I think I will end up throwing them away.

I was hoping to find the black ankle boots I purchased a couple of years ago, they had suede tops and were sooo comfortable. I saw these Brogue ankle boots and took a chance that they would be as comfy as the others. So far, so good. I purchased a size 6, these seem a little bit roomy but perfect with slightly thicker socks. I'm very happy with this purchase.
