I bought this a couple of weeks ago I cannot fault the service it arrived on time and was a very efficient safe delivery, but the table is a completely different colour to the pictures so disappointed as the picture is a lovely colour

Agree with previous review , totally impractical dinning table . After just six months of use I need a new table . Both benches have peeled at the sides . The table in two areas has bevelled . Extremely disappointed in the quality.

I wrote a formal complaint to M&S having received the table and without even using it, we noticed a small scratch on the side of it. The table top is so easy to damage by using it for its intended purpose - which is not what you would expect for a dining room table. Having just cleaned it after having leather place mats on the table only, I’ve noticed yet another 3 scratches. I am so disappointed with the table and especially with M&S for creating such an impractical table, when you would expect better for the brand and price. We saved up to buy this table and I feel so upset it’s already damaged with very little and light use by Christmas. I’ll be looking for a new table and chair set in the new year as I imagine it will look horrendous by then - and this is without even having it for more than two months. If you’re looking for a new table and chairs, please look elsewhere. As a regular customer with M&S, I feel very disappointed with this purchase and will not be repeating this mistake again.

This table and bench looks great but take care with edges of table and benches are easily damaged. Yes great space saver, well built and sturdy.

I decided on this dining table and benches because I was looking for something that was sturdy enough to withstand my clumsiness but elegant enough to have friends over for dinner. This does not disappoint! It's well made and wide enough for plates on either side of the table without feeling squished or needing to balance your plate slightly off the table (as is the case with some others). At 5'4" I'll probably get some nice cushions to sit on just for a teensy bit more height when I'm sat on the bench but an easily solved problem. Fantastic that the price includes delivery AND construction and the two lads that put it together were done in about 20 minutes!!
