Smooth and comfy-stayed up all day. Menopause dream! Tights are too hot.

Stockings

Stockings lovely. Hold-up top too wide for my skinny thighs. However, they worked well with my M&S suspender belt.

Not so suitable for those with thicker thighs

Quality is good, material feels great and I very much doubt you'd ladder these easily, however the length of them is just too short by a few inches to be comfortable and the sticky band isnt quite sticky enough or wide enough for me. I am 5'3 and do have sizeable thighs so will be much better for those with slimmer legs. Just not great for me.

They feel lovely but not impressed with the quality of the elastic as one snapped after only 2 hours of wearing. Extremely frustrating and embarrassing as was at a party.

Love these 60 denier hold ups. Fit so well. Stay up with no roll down or pinching. Nice denier so not see through. Wash well.

These do not stay up, even on first wear and following all instructions eg no cream/lotion on the legs. Do not buy; an absolute waste of money.

They looked good but stayed up for 10 mins! They need a garter as hold does not stay.

Lovely alternative to thick tights. Lace too much more comfortable than the double bands. Washes well

These did not stay up for even a minute. They didnt hold to my legs at all and fell down as soon as I stood up to walk. They are not fit for purpose and I am sorry to have spent my money on them.

Very pleased with these stockings. As described they do feel really silky and are very comfortable. I am 5’ and bought medium which are perfect for me.

Faulty pair

I have bought these hold ups fro many years and usually they are brilliant. Unfortunately i think i may have bought a faulty pair as one hold up lost elasticity and fell down immediately. I assumed it must have been that my legs were moisturised too much so tried it again another day but same thing happened. So Unfortunately it had to be binned! The other pair are fine so maybe it was just a faulty pair but it has now put me off buying more

Used to love M&S hold-ups but the elastane at the top is awful now. They don’t hold up, they slip down. Please can they go back to how they were…

Stay up stocks at M and s

All Marks and Spencer’s stay ups are fantastic - I see quite a few comments saying they don’t stay up - the trick is to very slightly dampen you skin when the top of the stockings are going to be , then pull up stockings in place and don’t bend for a few mintues - they will really grip to your skin and will stay in place all day and night. I have worn them all for many years , bother the heavy denier and the 10 denier and never had a problem.

Great stockings but sizing is way off

Really great pair of hold ups, great quality but the sizing is very small, I’m a UK 14, curvy with thick-ish thighs and they only just fit in the XL comfortably! A size 20 would definitely not fit in these(according to the size chart) so definitely size up or 2! Apart from that, if you get the correct size then they stay up nicely and are comfortable.

Fall-downs

They're useless to be honest, they stay up if you're standing still, and roll down constantly in any other circumstance, so they don't do what they're supposed to do and aren't fit for purpose. The actual fabric is a decent quality but that doesn't really help if they won't stay up.

Attractive hold-ups and they look good quality.
