Very disappointed

No, I don't recommend this
Very disappointed with the quality of these compared to having bought similar ones on several previous occasions. The cotton is thinner and the fit is not as good.

Uncomfortable

I wish I had read the reviews before buying these pants. The absence of elastic at the back of the leg holes means that they ride up and are really uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

OK everyday pants

There’s nothing wrong with these, except they aren’t very comfortable, so I’ve only given 3 stars. I don’t think the cut is right for my body shape (slim hips, no bottom!)

Worst pants ever
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
I bought these because I already had some of the same style which were super comfortable. The design has changed though and these are awful. The cut is different, and worst of all there’s no elastic in the leg resulting in an almost permanent wedgie. I expect better from M&S and if you’re going to alter the style so much call them something else, so misleading!

No elastic edging so the fabric just flaps around. So uncomfortable I had to throw the whole pack away.

Less than a month old and one pair has a hole in. I have short finger nails, a good washing machine and they have not been snagged therefore it's a quality issue, I presume. Apart from that, they're ok.

Awful

Bought High Rise shorts as these used to be midi briefs, they are now so wide they are like full briefs. So they were a waste of money. Not what i want. Changed to low rise shorts, hoping that these would be midi briefs but these are a completely different design with no edging to the leg so they ride up. Where are normal briefs hiding? Sadly nothing suits me. Every other shop sells them so i can get them there but i like online shopping!

Awful. No elastic in the bum part. Very thin material. Like wearing paper knickers. I have already binned these.

These are terrible quality and have not even survived a first wear. I will be returning them as the stitching is clearly defective

Uncomfortable for a person of my age.

Why oh why does M&S no longer sell medium or low rise briefs? These shorts seem designed for younger people rather than those of more advanced years. They are uncomfortable- my lower ‘cheeks’ keep escaping so I will not be buying again. When in my local store this week, I couldn’t imagine these shorts suiting the age profile of the majority of your customers. No wonder most were just going to the food section. I like the colour range and will endure them in this very hot weather.

Terrible Quality and very disappointing

I always buy M&S underwear and was really surprised at just how bad the quality is in these knickers. The elastic around the legs has been removed so they ride up when wearing and they are very uncomfortable. I wish M&S would stop outsourcing products to overseas manufacturers to make them cheaper. Opting for price over quality is seriously damaging their brand. I'm so fed up with receiving substandard products, I'm looking for an alternative.

Always go to m&s for things like this - they are the best material and fit and good value for money.
