5pk Cotton Rich Lycra® High Leg Knickers

The sizing has changed- seems smaller than usual. The high leg shape has also changed, it doesn’t quite cover the bottom like it used to which is annoying.

Very poor quality, especially for the higher priced range. I noticed after the first wash, (after washing as per label) that the stitching was unravelling but also the material itself, in multiple areas. Some of the stitching was ruffled / pulled. The material was also fraying in places and elastic threads were sticking out. There was some mix of this on every pair, across two separate packs. Very disappointing and not the quality expected from M&S.

Not much to say about this knickers except that this is my goto in knickers. They are a comfortable fit if I buy the next size up and last forever.

Been wearing Marks’ knickers for 60 years. Always comfortable and wash well, but the material is definitely getting thinner as the years go by.

I needed to top up my knickers. I have waited ages for M & S to bring back the much loved and requested high leg front seam plain cotton and Lycra knickers to no avail. But worse you have the introduced a different style that also goes under the name of high leg knickers as I found out to my cost when I got them home. You can tell because the gaps for the legs are inches deeper, this is because the waistband sits much higher and the knickers are more cut away from the bottom and tummy. Rejected at home on first look, I then found this pack of the traditional high leg knickers on line. The price was reasonable, they look nice, I haven’t worn them yet. Was compelled to buy assorted colours because it appears M & S no longer have a 5 pack of Opaline or whatever your neutral colour is called now; ideal because they are all Invisble beneath any colour clothes. Please think of a different name for the new style of knickers to avoid total confusion and I suspect, numerous returns. Please also bring back single colour traditional style of high leg knickers with front seams loved by so many of us for the comfort as you know, because you have many pairs of that style in various synthetic blends with lace trims on. Thank you.
