Pleased to find these genuinely no VPL pants. I usually size up in M&S pants but these fit in my size 12 perfectly. They launder well and hold their shape. Come up to my waist and fab under gym leggings as they don’t budge. No show under white linen trousers and come in a selection of skin tones. Have the Brazilians on order now.

Sorry, M&S: you have to sort quality control with your knickers. Gussets that are glued on and don't survive a day's wear and one wash are not what I expect from you. And it's doubly annoying when you've bought the matching bra to have a set, and you're left with just that. The dusky pink colour is gorgeous, and they are so comfy, but I can't afford to bin my pants after one wear. Sort yourselves out, please1
