Avoid if looking for comfort

No, I don't recommend this
I bough these hoping for a comfortable seamless brief but unfortunately there is a harsh seam internally around the waistband of the pants. It almost feels like a very fine plastic thread, so it’s really scratchy which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by opting for seamless. Wouldn’t buy again and very disappointed.

Pretty underwear that has a purpose

This is not my first purchase of this particular underwear - I don’t need them for myself but I buy them for my daughter as they are reliable, comfortable and really do what it says on the tin!

Great for light incontinence, no good for a period

These need rebranding. I buy these for light incontinence following my babies. Which they are perfect. I would prefer a pack of 3 all in black. I originally purchased for period wear, but the placing of the absorbent gusset is unsuitable meaning I leak at the front when I sit down, at the back when I lay down. You can't add a disposable period pad as the adhesive rips at the fabric but you could use if you wanted a reusable period pad but then you may as well use an ordinary pair of knickers. So I use another company for period wear and use M&S pants for everyday wear until I have fixed my pelvic floor. They can be washed at a higher temperature than most absorbent underwear which is great.

Good but size down

The idea of these briefs is excellent. I sized down due to other reviews, but they are very loose and if buying again I would go down another size.

I am really grateful to the person who designed these heavy flow period pants. I have them in all colours, patterns and the No VPL ones. I am well past the age for periods, but do suffer with an unstable bladder, I had been forced into uncomfortable incontinence pants both day and night, but then a friend was telling me about these pants that she had purchased for herself and her daughter, so I thought I would try them. I haven’t looked back. I purchased the flesh toned NO VPL to take away on holiday and they, like all the others, haven’t let me down. They have made me feel feminine again.

Disappointed

I read the reviews before ordering, which said they came up big, so ordered a smaller size - they’re still too big & slip down with movement - good job I always wear trousers! The waistband & legs have no grip & the material is silky, which I hadn’t realised before buying, & this doesn’t help as it slippy I wear a pad with these & it doesn’t stick - material not suited to it - so that moves around too! All in all, not a good buy & wouldn’t recommend I’m disappointed because other M&S period pants I have bought have been really good

As you can only buy in packs of three and to get the light colours you have to buy extra because so many black pairs. When I noticed a three pack of beige I sent for two packs , I have always bought size 14 thinking they would be the same I bought two packs. Unfortunately I cut off the labels then realised they are massive. At least a third of a size larger than the originals . I can only wear them under trouser. Prefer the mixed packs for size and fit

Large sizing but overall ok

Large for the size (I would recommend sizing down, I’m a 12/14 and bought at 12). They are very high waisted, (although they don’t pull in) I have only tried them on a light cycle and they held up well. They are large pants so if you’re wanting something a little smaller and flattering maybe these aren’t for you.

POOR QUALITY AND BAD DESIGN

Very uncomfortable due to the material which causes irritation. The join of thick and thin seam leaves a raised area across the pants which is painful to sit on. Would have returned them but not possible as I tried them by wearing them.

Far too loose fit - they fall down!

As another reviewer has said, the waistband on these has no grip - and they will fall down! Bought M&S period pants for a couple of years and always been pleased with them. Bought these to coordinate with a bra, ordered my usual size but these are sooo loose! Put them on, seemed OK but found I was constantly having to hoist them up while shopping (not a good look!) as if I didn’t, they soon slipped around my knees. Tried a second pair under trousers and just the same - OK they couldn’t fall off, but we’re only being held up by my trousers and were very uncomfortable. I’d ordered 3 sets of 3, so was planning to exchange the other 2 sets for a smaller size but on reading other reviews, think I’ll forget that and get a refund!

I bought these because I needed some flesh coloured protective underwear. They are absolutely fine - they fit, they are nice materials etc etc. However, I find it really disappointing that M and S seem to believe that someone who is buying this product just wants functional underwear. Even though I suffer from incontinence I still want underwear which is flattering, pretty, stylish or with at least some attempt at decoration.

I understand during the menstrual cycle wearing tight clothing is uncomfortable but these are ridiculously loose.. I’ve even bought a size down & have the same issue.. It’s embarrassing to have to continually have to pull them up when walking around! Great otherwise but please rethink the waist band

Great product. Extremely absorbent. I will wear these overnight as the top of my legs are a bit small, so the pants were a bit baggy at the top of my legs. I always buy M&S size 16 knickers, and they always fit beautifully. I will be wearing these overnight. I will still recommend these.
