OK but….

No, I don't recommend this
As thermal socks, I would have expected these to keep my husband’s feet warmer than the non-thermal ones he has been wearing. Alas, not; they are nice enough socks, as socks go, but I can see no advantage over an ordinary wool or cotton sock, certainly not to justify the tag ‘thermal’ or any enhanced price. Will not be adding to this one pack.

Light thermal socks.

These are a gift. They look quite smart in black and I like the coloured stripe at the toe. Good to have thermal socks which can be worn with shoes and not thick for wellies.

My son really loves these. He gets cold feet but hates thick socks. He has sensory issues due to his autism. These provide warmth in a thin sock that can be worn easily in regular shoes. My son also has size 14 feet, argh! So hard to find decent socks in his size, so I’m delighted to find these.

I have bought a number of these socks. Firstly for my son for school now for me at work. They are lovely and soft and keep my feet warmer than normal socks. They wash great and are as soft every time. Wouldn’t buy any other black socks.

Wouldn’t recommend purchasing these as they do not last thread bare after a couple times to wearing around the heal section of the socks, so not worth the purchase price I’m afraid.

When arrived looked great but….
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
Product looked great and felt nice and soft however washing instructions state machine wash and dryer. The first pair went to the wash size 12/14 and came out 5/7 definitely not the right washing instructions. Would not recommend these to anyone because of this as socks should be able to throw in the washing machine and dryer.

The material was thinner than I had expected, but is so soft and very comfortable when worn. While I wasn't sure how well they would act thermally given their relative thin nature, I found them to be increadibly warm over the course of the day - so much so that by evening I was finding my feet maybe a little too warm. The three accentd colourways give a little variety to the sock, and they are suitable for both a casual and formal attire. I did find that on purchase they appeared to have a slight ammonia smell to them, but this was eliminated after washing them before their first use.
