After seeing similar dresses elsewhere, I chose these as they had the highest cotton content. My daughter will be 7 next month (she's average build for her age), so I purchased in size 7-8. The fit is perfect and she loves them as they are warm, cute and comfortable.

Great pinafore and good school staple. M&S sizing though is very far out of other shops, my tall 5year old is now in age 7-8 pinafores.. which means you need to see them in the shop first which is also hard as they are rarely in stock.
