Slim-leg school trousers designed for growing children in a practical two-pack. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while crease-resistant technology and stain-repellent finish keep them looking smart throughout busy school days. With hems that can be extended by 3cm, these longer-length trousers adapt as they grow.
Sizes from two to six years have an elasticated waistband. Sizes from six to 10 years have an elastic back with a hook, bar and zip, while sizes from 10 years have a hook, bar and zip. The clever grow-proof hems can be unpicked and pressed for an extra 3cm of length when needed, helping trousers last longer as your child grows.

Longer length is definitely needed at this age and these fit great! Took me a while to work out the sizing structure on M&S trousers - after age 13/14 size the normal trousers don’t actually seem to get longer so the only way to solve this for a growing boy is to buy the longer length ones. Too bad it’s a struggle to keep in stock though and these seem to sell out within a handful of days once back in.

Even description says waist does not come with elastic for bigger size, the size 15-16 had the elastic that can be adjusted with the buttons, for even a better fit. Great Material. Thanks

Great to have the length but terrible fabric
The fabric is not great, very scratchy and quite a wide weave, if you hold it up to the light you can see the weave if that makes sense. They seem to be the only trousers on teh market that are a suitable length for my child so i had to keep them

Scratchy trousers
Awful fabric. I washed them to see if the fabric would soften and become less scratchy. It did not and now I cannot return them. Complete waste of money!

Ordered these thinking "slim" and "skinny" couldn't possibly be that different. My teenager looked at me as if I'd bought Victorian pantaloons. Apparently there is a HUGE difference. He didn't even try them on. Sent them back before I was reported to Childline.

Not sure if I'm reviewing the extra long or long length trousers but the extra long were perfect for my 11 year old slim son who's got very long legs! They are pretty much regular fit on him so not too skinny fit as his high school wouldn't allow these! Good value for money as I've had these in the past and they've lasted ages.

Great they do longer trousers. They wash and iron well.. always buy marks trousers. But, why do the crunch part get so tight! Always had to buy much highter size trousers and take them in loads and the sides to get a comfortable cruch. Sons only 13 and i got a 17-18years! Need to work on this.. always been the case!!
