2pk 100 Denier Magicwear™ Opaque Tights

I was so disappointed. I bought two pairs, and both broke the first time I wore them - the legs are quite strong, but the gusset/slimming section at the top just breaks as soon as you pull them up. Not fit for purpose and not what I expected from M&S

Excellent tights, wash well & don’t lose their elasticity. There are cheaper tights out there but you definately pay for what you get. These tights also hold your tummy in well too!

Comfortable, supportive and warm - perfect for everyday or special occasions. Highly recommended.

I love these tights, they are perfect for wearing under dresses to give a nice shape and are great but you have to be very careful when putting them on because the top is quite thin and I end up putting my finger through them so I can really only wear them once. I have worn these for years and I have never found this to be a problem in the past.

Not the worst but toes just ripped after 2 wears. Also does that annoying thing where it falls down during day as you wear them.

Really happy with the quality of these. I did have to go an extra size up compared to the size chart suggestion. Washes well, has a great hold and thickness. Also strong enough that they don’t easily ladder.

I never usually leave reviews, but as M&S kept emailing me and as I feel so strongly about these tights, I decided to write this. I did read other shoppers’ reviews before buying and wish I’d taken more notice. I completely agree, these tights are not comfortable, oddly sized and don’t make a jot of difference to bum and tum shape. I bought them to wear under a body con dress and was uncomfortable all night. I bought a Large, as other reviews advised that they come up small. I’m a size 12 and 5’6” and I immediately noticed when putting them on that the tights were quite short, not what you would expect for a Large. After around 30 minutes of wear I noticed that the waistband kept rolling down, which is not a good look in a close fitting dress, especially when trying to inconspicuously sort your tights out in the middle of a busy pub. I couldn’t wait to take them off when I got home. I bought 100 denier, and whilst the tights are definitely opaque, the material is flimsy and not very soft. Having bought much of my lingerie items from M&S, I’m actually shocked that M&S have produced such poor quality tights. There are 2 in pack, but even at that they are not worth the price. I won’t be wearing them again, unless I feel the need to spend a night uncomfortably adjusting my clothing.
