These hold ups should be withdrawn from sale. I wore a pair to a wedding, after a couple of hours they started falling down. I then had to make several trips to the Ladies to pull them up! It became so ridiculous I had to take them off. I had another pair which I put on and exactly the same happened. But on the final trip to the Ladies one was around my ankles! So embarrassing!! So thanks for ruining what should have been a very special day!

Friend was looking to experience hold ups. Purchased XL where I had hoped that they would be long enough, in fact turned out to be too long! (6ft 2)

So wished I’d read the reviews before buying for work as unfortunately the design has changed and they didn’t even attempt to stay up. Luckily I was able to return them and the assistant saw straight away the design flaw that clearly showed they weren’t sticking to anyone smaller as not sticky & just huge & floppy. So annoying.

I have been buying these hold ups for years the cheapest in the range and never an issue, for work i'm not prepared to spend a lot. Bought the two pack, ok for a couple of hrs they then loose there grip and start to slide down. And seem to ladder easy, get your act together M&S get the quality back, I wont buy these again for sure Nora Batty legs I dont want.

Hold-ups? No they don't!

My wife has always bought these M&S hold-ups believing they were the best for quality, fit and price. However, the ones supplied in the past couple of purchases are definitely not up to M&S's usual standard. As 'Hold-Ups' they don't ... hold up, that is. Too much 'play' in the elasticated area allows the garment to slip and my wife has had to get her sewing kit out to make adjustments. So come on Marks & Spencer, with all the negative comments already made about these items, please get your act together and provide a product your customers can be proud off.

Matt Hold-ups

I was disappointed with the 'hold up' quality of these garments. They felt nice to wear but within a couple of hours they were loose and one fell down my leg. I ordered a size large - I am 5ft 5ins. and a size 14. (I like hold ups to come high on my legs )

I have bought M&S hold ups for over 15 but they have changed now and don’t stay up on the 2nd or 3rd time of wearing them. Not sure if the material to hold them in place has changed or if it is solely due to the tops being bigger than they used to be. I won’t be buying them again.

Awful, far too wide around the top of your leg, don’t even cling let alone hold up. I have always bought these and used to be great but sadly they have changed, won’t be ordering again unless they change back!!

DOES NOT HOLD UP

I have worn these M&S Hold Ups for years and they have always been a perfect fit in both width and length (or someone who is quite short). This is the first time I have the ones in packs of 2. The fit and feel on the leg was great, the issue was with the top band, it was so big it didn't even touch the side of my thighs, so I can't comment on the issues many have mentioned that they fall down after a short time. I thought perhaps it was because I have lost some weight but I still had a brand new pair of one of the old ones and the top band is about 2 inches bigger in circumference now. I took a picture of them next to each other which is attached. This has also been sent to M&S by email. Hopefully they will review the product and make the fit what it was before so they will win back lost customers, although they will need to mention this on the packs so we know we can buy them again.

Look & feel great on - perfect length and they stay up - so can be worn without suspenders.
