2 Piece Cotton Rich Sweatshirt Outfit (2-8 Yrs)

Odd concept having a warm, cosy sweatshirt with a beach logo, then teamed with thin summer shorts. It’s a curious colour combination of pale cream and light pastel green for a boy but with the set being a great price point we could make it work better by splitting the two items to co-ordinate with other clothes with bolder colours. At this price point. concerned about the quality of the fabric for kiddies as to how robust it will be and standing up to frequent washing as time goes by re shrinking, pilling, colour fading - hoping the clothes at least see the season out staying respectably durable. I would attempt to leave a further review with the outcome after the clothes have been worn and washed a couple of times but you can’t access reviews again after the first review invitation has been submitted … a downfall of the current review system with being requested to leave one too soon before there is time to put the clothes through at least two washes. Other than the above concerns, it’s (potentially) good value, fits well, I really like the trendy generous cut of the sweatshirt which is soft and cosy for chilly days / evenings out, or as a quick cover up on the beach after a dip in the sea. The shorts are a simple, pull on design with an elasticated waistband and no other detail than the wavy pattern, they fit neatly, not too long or oversized. If it helps to assess sizing, our 4yo son is average height, a slim build and size 3-4yo still fits around the shorts waistline and length and the sweatshirt being a baggy style still fitted. Our 6yo is a stocky build, average height and we found 7/8yo fitted him best around the shorts waistline, while the sweatshirt is generously sized it still looks great with the current trend of oversized tops.

Bought this set for a birthday. Excellent price and quality. Well worth the money and would definitely buy again.

Generous fit. Good quality fabric, thicker than many seen. Nice deign not too much colour.
