12 Piece Marlowe Dinner Set

Good everyday set of plates and bowls. I would suggest going to a store first to look at the set as they can look different on a screen. I did this and it helped me decide, it also helped when I looked at the pasta bowls as I could see that they’re quite different. The pasta bowls seemed to have irregularities that make them impossible to stack easily.

I loved these dinner set so much, I bought a second lot after my husband managed to chip one of the side plates. It had said it was chip resistant, but I guess we found out it was not. I gave this dinner set five star as I really love it and everyone who has had dinner at my home has fallen in love with this set too.

Modern light grey dinner set, great for everyday use

I last bought this service about 7 years ago. It is very slightly different now with a fraction softer line markings on the rim but only noticeable when you put 2 plates or bowls together. It still looks good and is replacing cracked crockery bought from elsewhere.

Perfect for us. Can’t give it 5 stars as they’re not quite perfect - some don’t sit completely flat but not so much that you notice a wobble while using them.

Lovely set. However afterbone wash in the dishwasher a plate was chipped. I was a bit disappointed as the description did say the plates were strong and unlikely to chip!

I ordered two of the light grey dinner sets online only to find 4 of the bowls and 1 side plate had imperfections in the glaze and not painted properly, leaving white areas on the plates. This was very disappointing. I contacted customer services, and they sent me another dinner set out but unfortunately more than half of the items in this were also very poorly glazed and painted. This is not the quality I expect from M & S, in fact it looked as if there was little, or no quality control being carried out – many of the items looked like seconds but mostly items that should have been binned. This is not good enough for the money paid!

Pictures do not do this set justice! Colour is a blue/grey and is beautiful! Feels like pure quality and looks stunning. So happy!

Brought this set of tableware to match the white mugs brought earlier in the year and will be using this set for the first time on Christmas day.

Very happy with this design. Very solid, but not clunky. Classic design that works for both smart dinners as well as every day. I REALLY hope that now the dinner plates are out of stock does not mean they are discontinuing

it is an oustanding dinner service I just bought some spares I have had it 3 years and eveyone comments how nice it looks

I wanted to update my existing dinnerware and really loved the simple, modern design of this set so ordered three of the dinner sets. Unfortunately some of the pieces I received were marked or had imperfections which was disappointing. I also wanted to add to my collection and buy pasta bowls and mugs but these are now unavailable in white. I called customer service who said this design might have been discontinued which is why the items I wanted to buy were showing out of stock, rather annoying!

Love this white dinner set. Simple but classy. Love the detail line round the edge.
