12 Piece Hampton Dinner Set

I find the Hampton dinner set very attractive, it arrived well packed and appears value for money.

I was looking for a white, simple China dinner service with a silver band around the edge. All the ones I came across on line were not dishwasher safe. By chance my husband found the Hampton service on the M & S web page. The grey lines are quite delicate and it is dishwasher safe even though it has a silver line around the edge. It is perfect with our colour scheme.

If this is a new set to you, great, it’s a very nice dinner service. Unfortunately, I bought it to add to an already existing one that I’ve had for a few years, only to find that M&S has completely changed the size and shape of the dinner plates and bowls. So making it completely useless to me, unless I buy a whole new service. I can’t help thinking that this is a cynical move on their part to make people have to buy whole new sets and get rid of what they have as there was nothing wrong with it as it was.

I ordered an additional set of the Hampton dinner set to top up the sets I already have. I have kept them and love the style but it is clear they have downsized since my last order (which was a few years ago now). The side and main plates are marginally smaller but the bowls seem considerably smaller when compared to the old ones. I would not have minded the size had I not already had 2 sets and needed an additional set. So while this aspect is disappointing and frustrating as they don’t stack nicely with the others, I am still keeping them because I need them and I love the style.

Really pleased with this crockery set as I have been looking for something stylish, and light enough to lift due to arthritis in my hands, and able to go in the dishwasher and microwave. This Hampton Dinner Set fitted the bill and I'm really happy using it.

I already had this dinner set and wanted to add more to the set. Quality just as good but just slit disappointed that the bowls in this set are smaller than the original set. Not a major issue but just to be aware. Hoping to add the pasta dishes next.

Lovely dinner service and not heavy which I was finding with all the other sets. Plates are slightly bigger than average. Would love serving bowls and other add ons
