The dinner set is lovely but having washed once in dishwasher two items have chipped a bowl & dinner plate. The gloss finish seems to make it fragile & chip easily. Which is very disappointing.

I have two different colours in my Amberley dinner service as you have changed the colour and it now looks totally stupid. You call one navy which is pale blue and the other blue which is navy very confusing. So I now have two different colours as you don’t have any left of the blue one which is navy and what I wanted. What a waste of money.

Bought two sets recently from store. Decided we needed a couple of extra dinner plates as spares (breakage) and low and behold, our design was no longer being sold. Checked online and in store. Was told to "wait to see if it comes back online" Three weeks later, still nothing. They produce only a number of these and once they are gone, any breakages and you will have to buy a new set of a different model. Make sure you buy a couple of extras if you want to keep a full set for longer. Excellent plates but one star for after care and support/advice. Customer service not interested in my complaint hence the review. Amberley 8592/2301 Stoneware

I bought this dinner service and a set of pasta bowls a few months ago. They have been used infrequently and all the dinner plates have cracked in half and the pasta bowls have chipped and two have also cracked in half . They have been put in a dishwasher on an eco cycle . They are not fit for purpose and I have no faith in using the remaining items. I wish I had spent another hundred pounds and bought the Denby set. Totally not recommended. When I went to my local store to query the quality they were unable to help . I have always been a loyal fan of M and S but this has made me rethink.
