Waterproof Gilet with Stormwear™

This is so comfortable. Windproof and waterproof. Great under another coat or jacket.

I needed a replacement lightweight gilet to replace my Rab, it had to have waist pockets and the new Rabs have chest pockets which don't work well with bulky contents like phones and wallets. This is slightly stiffer fabric but lightweight and comfortable and half the price. The only snag is the zipped breast pocket is a bit difficult to open with the cover flap above it and sometimes the wash tags get in the way of the zip too. I haven't tried it during a shower/light rain yet.

I didn't want a padded or quilted gilet so, for me, this lightweight and shower resistant gilet ticks all the right boxes. Two deep inside pockets (no zips or velcro) should hold a smartphone securely. The three exterior pockets are all fitted with zips Lightweight and comfortable this gilet is just the thing I've been looking for. I was so pleased with this item I purchased two !
