This was on my daughter’s birthday list so I bought it for her and she really loves it. She said it’s really soft and although it doesn’t completely block out all the light, it blocks out the brightness of the early morning light which is what she wanted it for.

This mask is very comfortable, made of soft silk. It doesn’t leave crease marks on the face . It blocks out most light and is great for sleeping when it’s daylight. Also the Velcro that adjusts and fastens it can be turned to the inside if necessary so no problems with plucking the pillowcase ..

I bought this as a replacement for one I'd been gifted, which I'd left in a hotel, but it was narrower and less well padded, so I splashed out twice as much for one from an online company and have relegated this to a spare. If you haven't used this type of eye mask before you might be more delighted, as this design makes a great difference to sleep.

I was really shocked at the nasty sharp black plastic Velcro fastening on this eye mask. The eye mask itself is beautifully soft & comfortable but the plastic Velcro is just so wrong. The eye mask itself doesn’t block the light completely but it certainly helps. I bought the cream colour as it was the only colour in stock, but maybe a black one would be more effective. Also, the Velcro has actually damaged a silk pillow case so all in all, a bad buy & wouldn’t recommend - sorry M & S!
