Lovely and comfortable. The only slight negative I have is the elastic bands on the corners, if you have a deep mattress they can shift occasionally. However, that does not detract from the fact it has made sleeping a lot more restful.

I am pleased with this topper. I wanted a synthetic one but not memory foam. I also wanted a good , quality pure cotton cover as they are cooler . I am very pleased with the cover as it is 230TC and thick. Unlike other ones I have had in the past it does not rustle or feel stiff ; it is soft. The topper has flattened slightly but I think that is to be expected. I am glad that I bought the 6cm depth , it is not too thick. The top is soft and supportive but does not have the " sink in " feel that " feels like down " toppers have. If you want that sensation another topper woud be better. At the same time I ordered the Luxury Down Alternative topper to compare the two which I am returning. This only had an 180TC cotton cover and although fine it is definitely inferior to the cover on this one. The Luxury Down Alternative felt much softer , spongier . It does have the " sink in " feel. In the past I have found " feels like down " toppers too hot in the summer which is one of the reasons I kept the Ultimate Comfort one. I do think that M&S do not give you enough information . I want to know what type of polyester it is .... clusterfibre , microfibre , hollowfibre etc. It also says that if the packaging is opened the topper is non returnable . This is very frustrating as there is only a small opening to feel the toppers through. I have small hands luckily. What I say about the Alternative to Down topper is what I could feel through the packaging as I was unable to take it out. I think the Ultimate Comfort one is worth paying extra for if you like a good , quality cotton cover .

Unfortunately, I had a delivery issue so it took longer than expected to arrive. Customer services were helpful. Sadly, the topper was not as soft as I hoped and made the bed more uncomfortable, so I have returned the item. The returns process was quick and easy.
