Great quality but sizing is off

Bought for my son to wear to a wedding abroad. Lovely shoe, great colour and quality. However, the sizing & fit is crazy. Had to return 2 different sizes & finally 3rd pair was ok. Normally a size 10 1/2 or 11 - had to buy size 9 1/2.
