I bought these in the sale as wanted a pair of navy boots mainly for work and to go with skirts and dresses. These are mostly comfortable- however- as has been pointed out in other reviews - the sole under the heel is hard and not greatly comfortable - as if the arch has been put in the wrong place. They are also surprisingly heavy. Having said that, they do look good with dresses and skirts and as long as you are not intending to walk for miles, they are fine. They also shoe a bit big so I found I can wear 2 pairs of socks which makes them more comfortable and keeps feet warm!

Love these boots. I had been looking on the website for a size 3 and a half but sold out for weeks. Luckily, a pair became available. A bonus that they were now in the sale. Very comfortable and heel height perfect. Will be wearing a lot. Perfect with jeans.

Go 1/2 size up. I am always a size 4, bought these boots in size 4 1/2 as no 4’s were available in the sale. Needed the bigger size or they would be too small. Lovely boots nice sized heel.

Look good although I agree that they are quite uncomfortable on the arch - strangely solid and hard! I decided to keep them even though they arrived after the event I ordered them for due to various delays!

Looks fab with jeans, very flattering with blue jeans to elongate the leg. Had to return as they're quite heavy and stiff and my narrow feet felt like they could leave the boot behind if moving quickly.

These look beautiful on but again the makers have done this weird arch thing. I've previously bought M&S boots bigger and padded them out with insoles but its just too noticeable to risk with this pair. Actually sore to walk on!

Absolutely love the look and quality of these boots however, as other reviewers have said, the inner sole is extremely hard, almost as though the arch support has put in the wrong place and is beneath your heel not your arch. Hoping they'll soften with wear as I think I'll get lots of use out of them.
