Really solid, well made and excellent price. Yes some of the potato escapes up the side but I would think it does on any design like this, it's not a big issue. The potato comes out completely lump free, very pleased with the product.

You get a much better mash with a ricer. This unit was bought to replace one stolen by my sister as she was impressed. There are others on the market that are cheaper from other online retailers that have the letters A & Z in their name - but their construction is poor so this is well worth the extra.

I brought this as l was having trouble using my potato masher (old hands etc) They are even harder to use plus they make a terrible mess You could probably use for very small amounts that would take a long time
