Nice and handy pot. I gave 4 stars, because I’d prefer a larger, family size pot.

Medium Stock Pot
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
The pot itself is very good; although the handle on the lid does get very hot. It works well with an induction hob. It would be useful in the description of the pot to give the height dimensions with and without the lid, as the pot wasn’t as deep as we expected.

All you need in a Stock Pot
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)

It is everything I could have wished for. A little heavier than expected but this is a plus as the base is quite thick and allows it to retain the heat producing a controllable simmer. When making soups and casseroles is a must . Having no plastic or rubber on handles ideal for the oven. also large enough to hold a chicken carcasses for making stock.

Excellent quality, great price

Excellent quality for price. Design of the pot bottom going into the sides is angled beautifully to allow spoons in to ensure everything is stirred and mixed. Great to have measurements inside the pan too! A friend (a trained chef), recommended these and I purchased 2.5 and 5 litres stock pots. Theyre so versatile and also very easy to clean.

Good size and quality steel. I like the fact that the handles are not plastic and the pot can go in the oven as well. Excellent price and guarantee.

No, I don't recommend this
The description was wrong. It was claimed to be 21cm high, it was 13cm high. Got in touch and had a video chat and the lady went to the shelf and confirmed by measuring the same one I had and it was 13cm high. No 21 cm in stock

It’s fantastic on our halogen hob, better than the more expensive ceramic pan it replaced!

Top handle falls off!
Originally posted on marksandspencer.com (UK)
No, I don't recommend this
We have had this for a couple of years, since the rivets corroded on a much cheaper similar item. We thought a more expensive pot would be better made. The other day, the handle fell off, as the rivets had corroded!

No, I don't recommend this
I have always used marks and Spencer stainless steel cookware and they were brilliant but this time I was hugely disappointed with this one. It had stains in the inside with the first cooking and I had to return it.

Excellent quality stock pot. I am pleased with my choice. Only one complaint. My stock pot arrived with no protective packaging. It was in an M&S plastic bag with my address label. The glass lid could easily have been broken in transit.
