Yes, I recommend this
I needed a large backpack, preferably with several pockets, for a day's excursion and this was just right. BUT I had assumed that such a good quality bag, selling itself for the outdoors, would be waterproof. This wasn't the case when I got caught in a deluge. But in the bag's defense I learn that practically no backpack lays claim to this. So I have forgiven it and bought a separate waterproof cover.

After a green backpack for so long, I like hiking in hot countries and fed up of using black backpacks that attract heat. Used in Malta and was nice and cool
