Put the Egg Poachers, hole side down, into a pan and add water up to the line marked on the Poachers

When the water is boiling crack one egg into each Poacher

Bought these a couple of weeks ago! Wish I hadn’t bothered. They need a large saucepan full of water to use them together. Sadly looked good but a ridiculous‘gadget’. Shame I’ve wasted £12.

I already have these egg poachers. And in my opinion they make the best poached eggs ever. The trick is to bring a large pan of water to the boil, pop the poachers in holey side down drop the eggs and then immediately turn off the heat. Pop a lid on the pan and leave for about 4-5 minutes depending on how you like your eggs. And then serve and enjoy!

There aren’t many egg poaching devices that seem to work. Most reviews are on the whole rather negative and this one had some of the better overall reviews. I’ve only had it long enough to use it once so far but, much to my surprise, I followed the instructions to the letter and it worked first time.

I thought these would be great. But no. Not fit for purpose. The eggs just fall through. I’m going to try turning the bottom up and using them that way. But othewise, pretty useless. The product seems too big and too tall for pans and the eggs.

This item is a total disaster - DO NOT BUY I tried to use it and each time the egg (THREE EGGS) simply slipped through the hole in the bottom and disolved in the water and what remained was stuck to the bottom of the pan This ITEM IS BEING RETURNED for refund!!!!!
