Senior Girls' Slim Fit School Blazer

Material, fit and finish so much better quality than elsewhere, but sadly it's a case of what might have been. There's a premium to pay here compared to elsewhere, which I could happily justify were it not for the lack of Grow-Proof cuffs (as promised in image 5 at time of reviewing). Without this feature this becomes another throwaway garment once outgrown. No good for sustainability or the pocket At age 12, this could be within a matter of months, thus if I'm going to buy twice, I'll shop around for now. May return to this product when limb growth slows down but come on M&S, with hindsight I'm looking at previous reviews and it seems to have been a problem for a few years now. Or just do nothing and hope for the best.

I bought this blazer as my daughter needed one with extra length in the arms. This describes how you can unpick the inside seam and have an extra 3cm. I thought brilliant until I followed the instructions and realised that not only was the inner lining unfinished so was the extra length. I am going to have to send to dry cleaners to restitch the arm at extra cost to me. If I had a sowing machine I’d do it myself but I don’t. Really really unhappy. So not as described. Don’t buy if you think you can use the extra 3cm.

I ordered a size 14-15 for my daughter as she’s 15 but is very slim. It arrived and was too small especially in arms (was short and tight) so I ordered the next size 15-16 and same issue ! It didn’t appear to be any bigger so this one is being returned too !

It's been difficult to find a well fitted school blazer with internal pockets for my daughter. I ordered a smaller size as she's petite but fits good. The material is quality too. It's definitely on the pricey side just for a school blazer knowing full well they'll grow out of it.

Very disappointed. Think M&S have changed the sizing of this slim fit blazer. Fits too small and too short in the arms. The smaller sized slim blazer I ordered my daughter last year fitted perfectly so I ordered the next size up and am now having to send it back. I don't really want to order one two sizes bigger ie 15-16 for my 13 year old!

I ordered this for my daughter, the overall sizing was good but the sleeves are far too short. I'm not the first customer to comment on this by the looks of it.

I bought the largest size for my daughter, the blazer fits beautifully across the chest, at the shoulders and the waist but the sleeves are at least 2 inches too short and they do not have the option to be let down (contrary to the information on the website).

The details suggest that this blazer has grow proof sleeves - it hasn't. This is very disappointing. My daughter is tall and slim and so has longer limbs and each year has had to wear a bigger size than she needed just to get the correct sleeve length - she had an age 15-16 last year (she is 14) which is the biggest size available - fortunately this size still fits her this year but the sleeves are too short so when saw that the sleeves could be adjusted I was very pleased and ordered a new one. The extra 3cm would have been very useful - and ideas?
