Sculpt & Lift Mid Rise Straight Leg Jeans

I wanted jeans less skinny than I've been wearing for some years as I felt that the skinnies weren't quite as fashionable as they had been. These straight legs do what I wanted, i.e. feel narrow but aren't quite as hugging around the thighs/knees etc. I was also prepared to go for a slightly higher waistline, having worn low-waisters for quite a long time, but wasn't happy to go for the belly-button covering style. These really fit the bill, with a medium-height waistline, not high, but not right down low either. I'm very satisfied.

Having purchased both the dark and light denim, the dark were a bigger cut than the lighter ones. I don’t understand why the ‘ too long’ comment shows so much, can’t people sew any more. Just turn them up, if the fit is good just turn the up. As has already been said, the quality of the material is not what it used to be. The inside thigh seam is very thin and does not last the quality of the rest of the garment. I love this shape and cut, it’s just a shame both changes as much as it does. One wonders if the contract to make the garments goes to different countries, where sizes mean different things.

I always buy an M&S 8 short and normally it is a perfect fit for my size 8 4ft 11 frame but not this time. These jeans although they say “short” were very long. I sent them back. Shame as the quality was good all be it a little pricey at £35.

I was disappointed with these trousers, I thought they would be a lovely pair of trousers for the summer, with a smart edge to them. I loved the stripe down the leg. I am a standard size uk12, I would get in them fine, but the waist is slightly lower, which made my hips look massive and the side pockets gape. A UK 14 would of been way to big. Fabric was a good quality and style was lovely, but fit not great for me, which surprised me as I don’t normally have a problem with m&s fit.

I have been buying this style for many years, I love this style. I bought 3 pairs last October, the first wore away very quickly between the legs and had big holes in, they went back and I got a refund. In under 6 months the other 2 pairs now have huge holes in. I cannot wear them anymore. The material is much thinner than they used to be. Also I used to wear a regular length and now I'm in short!! What is going on M and S? Very disappointed with these jeans, really bad quality and not long lasting. I expect better from Marks and Spencer.

I liked the look of these jeans and thought I’d try a different cut. I was so disappointed when I got them home and tried them on. I always buy regular and did the same again but the jeans were massive, to big, to long and baggy. I’m taking them back for a refund tomorrow

Really slimming and very comfortable. They give legs and bottom lovely shape ! Have bought 2 pairs. Have 'lived' in skinnies for years so this shape quite a revelation. !! Not frumpy !

These jeans were on sale but out of stock in my size. Really wanting to try the technology, I thought I'd order a pair and if it fits great and if it doesn't I'll find someone to gift them to. I'm usually a size 8 in M&S tailored trousers. I ordered a size 6 in the jeans. They actually do work. I feel my bum lifted and although slightly snug around the waist the denim is stretchy so does not dig into me. No gifting to anyone else!

Fit fine when first put on, but after a while they go so baggy they look weird. Disappointingly didn’t shrink a bit in tumble drier. Lovely colour though.

I didn't even get to try them on. The button on the waist band was so stiff I couldn't undo it. Even the young assistant on the returns desk couldn't undo it! Very disappointed

I went into the store looking for jeans as, when I buy trousers online, they never fit these days but I was lucky with these as I thought they were the £19.50 not £35.00 jeans as I had tried on the pale wash, short fit and decided I prefer the darker wash look. Took them to the till with another item and the bill was higher than I expected. Turned out these has been put back in the wrong rack but, when I came home and tried them they fitted really well, though the short length was more regular which is fine for me as I'm 29'' leg and I totally love them. Left them on all evening and mine didn't overstretch like others have said so, relieved about that. First pair of jeans since out outgrew my old ones 8 years ago :).

I struggle to find jeans to fit me. I have purchased these previously and won’t wear any other jeans. They are a great fit & very comfortable.

Theses fitted beautifully but I ordered regular and they were far too long - I am average height. Even with heeled boots they were too long. I would suggest buying a length shorter than you might usually do. Sadly they had run out of regular length for this product.

terrible fit always done with M&S jeans but they are now a dead loss. baught short length but would need to be 6 foot for them to fit. terrible shape aswell
