Amazing quality!

I love this dressing gown; the quality is fantastic. I read the reviews about it not having pockets, but I'm not sure if the people who submitted those reviews appreciated that the pockets are simply tacked closed and just need to be opened up with scissors. One slight downside is the fact that the sleeves end up in the sink when washing up, but it's not a deal breaker. I love the dressing gown so much that I am definitely going to order the pajamas. I am five foot 10, and the gown reaches my ankles, so that might be something to take into consideration when ordering if you are not particularly tall. I am delighted that the design of the sleeves has reverted back to the original one. I have ordered Rosie dressing gowns for the last three years and returned them because of the ridiculous shape of the sleeves. I'm pleased to see that feedback on this has been taken into account at last.

Pocket Issue

This is a lovely and well made gown. It is lovely silky material which means that it's quite 'slippery' and so often needs retying but not a major issue. Now the POCKETS. I would not buy a robe without pockets so when I read a previous review which said that they were fake (who in their right mind would do such a thing?), I panicked. When it arrived, I tried it on and tried to put my hand in the said pockets which seemed to be just half an inch deep. I have no idea what was going on but I sort of burst my way through the stitching and made pockets! So I am only presuming that it was a manufacturing fault which meant that they had been stitched up in error.

I really like this wrap, Im a size 16 on top and the size L is great and probably a bit on the large size. Its very pretty and feels lovely and seems to be very good quality. The only negative is that it does not have any pockets which would have been nice nut not a deal breaker!

Good fit. Doesn't crease easy. Ideal when travelling. Packs well. Shame about the shiny finish. Slippery when sitting down!

Beautiful, but .....

For years, at size 18, I have had to buy size 22 nightdresses in M&S; ordering on line, with this dressing-gown I have had to buy 2 different sizes at once, as I never know which size will fit me. This is a lovely garment, but how I wish M&S would standardise its and its suppliers sizes! Endless returns and re-purchases are exasperating.

This dressing gown looks lovely and feels smooth and cool for summer wear. The lack of pockets and over large sleeves could be an issue.

I do love my dressing gown, needed something lighter for summer and this fits the bill perfectly the fabric is slippery but as long and you tie up the inside and side ties firmly it stays put, definitely coming on holiday with me, takes very little space in the suitcase

Slippery but manageable!

I needed a lightweight dressing gown and decided to go out of character and buy a silky rather than a simple cotton wrap. I'm so glad that I did; I love the colours, the wrap is very comfortable and, although the fabric is slippery, there are toes inside the dressing gown and a loop for the external tie to make it easier and comfortable to wear. It is long which is lovely when I'm walking about but going upstairs is a bit tricky so I either hold up the hem or tuck it into the belt tied around the waist.

Lovely...but annoying

Lovely dressing gown, though I think it's so slinky the tie belt might continually slide undone! What really annoys me is that the two 'pockets' visible in the picture are FALSE i.e. 1 1/2 ins. deep! I like to have real pockets in dressing gowns. It's very long on me - knew it probably would be & I'm used to shortening things, and I expect I could put a pocket in each side seam with what I cut off But it's already annoying me so I'll just return it. (There weren't any reviews to read!)

Lovely and cool in this weather but very difficult to keep done up as the material is very silky. Wish I had sent it back before I cut the tags off knew it was a pain to wear.
