Not for me

Returned this item as it was much too tight across the bust and there was no give as it was a satiny type fabric. Also too short for me. It was quite pretty though.

Disappointed as the wrong item was sent to me. Received different item in size larger than ordered. Never had this happen with Marks and Spencer before. Should have been Rosie Satin Animal Print Chemise. It looked beautiful! I’d recommend it just from the pictures online.

After reading some reviews I thought I would be disappointed after ordering the nightie online. It was the opposite as the nightie is a lovely design with a lace trim, elasticated waist and decorated with buttons. Someone commented that they wear it as a dress and I can see why. It falls on the knee and I'm 5'3" and the fit is a true size

[Employee of marksandspencer-en_gb] Love the fabric patter and colours. The idea of the chemise is perfect but has not been executed well. I have a very small bust and there was no chest room at all! It was really tight in the chest when the rest of the chemise fit fine. The elastic around the waist is i necessary and makes the fit awkward and uncomfortable. The chemise would have been better without it. Overall had to return as such a poor fit. Really disappointed as liked the fabric and pattern

Lovely design, pattern and fit! The cinched waist is really nice and the lightweight material means it keeps you nice and cool. A bargain as I managed to get this in the sale!

Beautiful fabric but ghastly fit and so terribly unflattering.

The first one I ordered was way too small. It was certainly not the size it said. Couldn’t get it over my head. But I persevered and ordered another one in same size and it fits perfectly. Matches the wrap around dressing gown. It’s pretty and sexy. Read the reviews about sizing after I had ordered another one so was expecting to be disappointed but it’s worth trying another one in same size.

I'm absolutely delighted with this 'nighty' however I am actually going to wear it as a dress!

I tried this on in store and found it to be ill fitting and over priced. Not surecwhybit had elastic around the waist and agree with previous reviews that this was unnecessary. Such a shame as it is really hard to find a satin chemise any more. In the ninties/noughties M&S did a lovely range of flattering chemise in lots of different colours and I had about a dozen of them. Please read your reviews and bring these back, they would fly off the shelves again.

Loved the fabric, however there is a significant quality issue with product. Ordered a 14 and didn't fit. Compared it to other Chemise and definitely sizing problem as chemise was half the width of other item.

I always love the rosie brand in M&S but was disappointed with this product. Although was my usual size it was too tight for comfort. Unfortunately returned and as was not sure about the actual style, did not size up.

As per the other reviews, couldn't get it over my chest and I'm not particularly large in that area. Order at least one or two sizes up if you really want it.

Normally a size 12 but this was much too small in the bust area. So unfortunately had to return. Suggest order a size bigger. Not sure about the elastic around the waist either so didn’t re order. Pretty material,

This looked great when it arrived but the fit is terrible. Baggy sides and weird bust fitting such a shame as Rosie have not done any nice nighties for soo long. don't buy

Very simple and elegant nighty. Probably fits better for smaller busted women and I like that it has shape to it with a clinched waist. Still very comfy and I was surprised it was under £30.

I always buy M & S night wear like this chemise. In the past i have found them to be of a good quality satin but was a little disappointed with this one. On the label it say Luxurious satin. There is nothing Luxurious about this satin. It all so has a fitted waist which i think i prefer it with out but that's just my preference. I feel the price is high for the quality

I was very disappointed, & returned it to the store. Not enough fabric around the bust area & too much around the hips, it probably would fit better without the elasticated back.

I bought this during lockdown, so was unable to try it on. The elastic gathering round the middle/under the bust is not at all necessary, if you have a full bust one needs a free flowing design. Useless for me, returned it. Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. M&S made a similar design some ten years ago, it was amazing, not all 70 years plus want to wear frumpy nightware! M & S take note.............

Fit small -

This chemise comes up small and is useless if you have a bust over a size C. The semi empire line either side pulls the gown down whiich is a shame as the fabric is really lovely. If you are less busty this may look really nice. I oredered online and with all the plastic pollution I think it is time M&S stopped sending items with coathangers - it needs to be addressed. For readers I am around a size 10, bought a size 12 and I am a 34DD/E bust.
