This is my second purchase, I already have one in ivory. The mahogany colour is a lovely burgundy not a brown. Nice weight of fabric. Hoping it won’t fade with washing.

This is very poor quality thin silk. It feels more like polyester. Years ago M & S silk was excellent, as was the cashmere. I now purchase proper good quality & cashmere from other brands, even if it costs a little more, quality lasts. A silk shirt I have ripples & feels like expensive silk next to my skin, this doesn't.

No, I don't recommend this
Disappointing quality- feels very thin- not usual M&S quality. Shape was very wide on shoulders and too tight on waist so not flattering! Really disappointed. Returned it.

Beautiful well cut shirt. I got it in the burgundy and I love it. Drapes gorgeously. Lost one star: I like to wear my shirts both out and tucked in. If you’re tall (I’m 175cm / 5’9”) due to the side slits, if this shirt is tucked in, there are ‘gaps’ at the sides.

I bought this in the dark burgundy to go with the matching skirt. Great cut, with a bit of shaping below the bust so it’s not too boxy whether you choose to wear it tucked or untucked.

It is pure silk but to be honest looks cheap, like polyester. I was looking for a good quality thick silk that hangs well. A simple design is good but this had no particular style. I returned it.
