Bought this for my husband in the sale but was a little sceptical as thought it might be hard to iron being linen. It’s a fabulous shirt and he’s really pleased with it. It feels quite soft to the touch. Excellent quality. And a good fit.

My husband loved this shirt. He said the linen was very comfortable and fitted well. The colour was deep and rich although it hasn’t been washed yet. I hope it stays true.

Great shirt available in nice colours. I'm usually between a medium and a large. If i go medium, i find shirts tight across my shoulders and upper back. If i go for a large, i end up with slightly too long sleeves and a massive amount of excess fabric around my lower back and sides. In this case, i opted for the large and it really was too large. I will return it for a medium and hope i still have enough space around my shoulders and back to be able to move my arms.

Good size and colour but not colourfast at all. Turned all my other clothes in the wash lilac, not impressed at all. I haven't experienced anything like this in years from any brand let alone M&S

We saw this in a London store before online orders were restored. My husband loved the colour but they didn’t have his size, only huge sizes. Literally the morning online orders restored I ordered his normal size. Medium. Tried it on and the sleeves hung below his hands. Returned and ordered a small. Small too small around chest (not surprisingly) but the sleeves still hung below his hands. Sadly this will have to be returned too. Also what is going on with the men’s sizes? Medium 38 to 41 inch chest, small 35 to 37 inch. My husband is a standard medium 38” chest. I do notice most of the images have the sleeves rolled up — even on a tall model. I would love to give this more than one star just for the colour as it goes with every pair of shorts or trousers my husband owns, but the sizing prevents me. Sorry
