A good quality, fine knit merino cardigan which is just the thing for layering. Can be worn under a casual jacket, such as a Barbour waxed jacket, or as a waistcoat under a suit jacket during winter. In addition it is about 40% cheaper than a very similar item from a well-known gents outfitters.Very happy with my purchase.

This Marks & Spencer cardigan is a must-have for any wardrobe. It is incredibly versatile and works with almost anything, including jeans, smart trousers, shirts, T-shirts and knitwear. A navy cardigan in particular is one of those pieces that can be dressed up or down very easily. The quality of this one is really lovely, and it has a smart, classic look. It does come up true to size, so do not assume that because the V-neck jumper may come up a little small, this cardigan will be the same. I ordered an extra large, but should really have gone for my usual large. I kept it, but it is a little big. And one final style note, always leave the bottom button undone.
