Pure Cotton Pleated Wide Leg Chinos

The style of these make me think of old Hollywood movies; pleats, fitted well on the bum and a nice width to the legs. Colour is a classic and the leg length (reg) was perfect for my 5'8" wearing flat shoes. The only downside was the waist, which in a size 16 was a tad tight (I'm a std 16) so I'll have to move the button slightly for comfort as they fitted well everywhere else. Material is a good quality, not too thick or thin, and the waist is at the right height and fastens with 2 buttons

I wanted to love these but decided they just don’t hang well as palazzo width trousers in a very lightweight cotton. They bunched a bit round the crotch and stomach too. However the fabric is lovely for summer if that’s what you’re after although be prepared to iron - they creased on the hanger. I’d also say they come up a touch short in comparison with other v wide leg trousers. I’m 5ft9 but have short legs and these were just ok although I like wide legs to almost touch the ground. Which these don’t even without shoes.
