Pure Cotton Mini Shirt Dress

I absolutely love this dress! I’ve been wanting a new denim dress for ages, but so many of them are either stiff heavy denim, or thin cotton, but this is a really nice thickness and is so soft to touch. I wore it for a friends birthday recently and got lots of compliments on it.

I was really excited for this dress to arrive after waiting for it to become available. The fit was great, and I loved the style. However, after the first wash, it tore from the pocket down to the hem, making it unfixable. I applied for a refund, but I haven’t received it yet. In the meantime, I ordered a second dress, which thankfully didn’t rip in the wash—perhaps I was just unlucky with the first one! That said, the thread around the buttons has started to unravel, and the dye does transfer, so it’s best worn with dark lingerie.

This is a great dress. It’s the perfect a-line /swing shape - not too massive - and it hangs really well. Good quality as well. I did size down from a 10 to an 8.

Lovely dress. Quite short but but nice with thin tights. I though M&S stuff was small and i'm in between sizes so ordered the bigger size in 20 and it is actually i would say pretty big but it does fall nicely, and it had sold out again by the time it had arrived next day so i'm sticking to the bigger size. Perfect smock shape dress. I'm 5ft and a size 20, bought a size 18 and it fits my arm and top of my bust perfectly. It is a mini on me too and hits me 3 inches above my knee.

I absolutely loved the look of this dress on the website, but in reality it there is just too much fabric so it sticks out front and back. With all that extra fabric, they could have made some pockets!! Still deciding whether to return, or keep and get it altered so it hangs like it does in the website photo!

Love this dress nice denim not too heavy comes just above my knees got size 8 and it's true to size the sleeves are a good length and it's great for layering, just wish it had pockets.
