Pull On High Waisted Shorts with Linen

I ordered two sizes 12 & 14 . The 12 was plenty big . Happy as they are comfy but quite smart too

Lovely fabric but the second time I wore them the stitching on the waist tie broke meaning the whole tie puckered which is really frustrating. Not the quality I would expect from M&S

Bought these and another very similar pair - the material on these is much softer and less scratchy than the slightly costlier ones. The sit really nicely and are just the right length. Love the elastic waist!

I’d say these are ok lightweight shorts for wearing around the house. The fit is a bit weird-at least it is on me- i got my usual size 8, and there’s quite a lot of baggyness in the front, they’re very high waisted (i’m 5’2), which basically comes up to just below my ribs, far too much excess material really, especially for summer. If i fold the waistband over, it makes the leg part sit weirdly, as they’re not really cut evenly. Honestly M&S: Is there really that much demand for super high waisted stuff? If so, can we at least have a petite cut so us shorties don’t look like humpty dumpty!
